Why Join Us

Why join us?
Hythe and Blackfield Patient Participation Group (PPG) has helped to shape Hythe and Blackfield Health Centres. Our aims are to provide a patient perspective to the Practice, provide a forum to discuss ideas relevant to the Practice and to enable patients to influence local health care services.
Members also play a part in contributing to local health provision by serving on committees operated by, among others, West Hants Clinical Commissioning Group and South Central Ambulance Service.
The PPG is affiliated to the National Association for Patient Participation (N.A.P.P.) whose aim is to promote and support patient participation in primary care.
